Atkins Gully Emptier Takes to the Roads

Atkins, one of the world's leading providers of technology based consultancy and support services, is undertaking trials with a Regenatec converted vehicle. The DAF LF based gully emptier has taken to the roads as part of a three month evaluation of Regenatec's ultra-low carbon technology. The vehicle trial was officially launched with the help of Construction Services, Tony McFadden and County Councillor Bob Seery at Atkins' Brixworth depot, Northamptonshire, UK. The vehicle is being operated by Atkins Northampton Highways and on conclusion of a successful trial, will be rolled out across the larger, high consumption diesel vehicles in their fleet such as HGVs and gritters.
